Pitch diameter gages must be preset prior to measuring a connector. The presetting operation is made simple with the use of rod standards. These standards are precision ground and tagged with connector description and a unique serial number.

These rod style standards make the JSS easy and affordable. Of course, the pitch diameter gages can also be set to size using the MIC TRAC Measurement Center.
